Bonding
Bonding is a technique whereby composite resin filling material is placed on your front teeth. Composites are white plastic filling materials used for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements, and even changing the colour and shape of teeth. Often bonding is used on front teeth to close minor gaps, and cover up any stains.
Bonding has become a common procedure and can usually be completed in one short visit. Bonding will cover any natural flaws: first a thin coating of adhesive is applied on the front surface of the teeth, and then the bonding material is applied. Bonding can be sculpted, coloured and shaped to provide the look and feel that you desire.
Next time you're in the office, ask Dr. Cloth if bonding can improve your smile.
