The International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology Certificate

March 15, 2020

Dear patients:

As I am sure many of you have heard, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in consultation with the Provincial Government has recommended all dental offices in the province delay all non-essential dental care until at least the first week in April to minimize the spread of Covid-19 virus. The team at Dentistry on Sheppard feels this is the correct decision for the health and safety of our patients, staff and indeed all Ontario citizens. We will be open on a limited basis for the next two weeks to treat any patients in pain/emergencies and answer any questions. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience,

Dr Mark Cloth.

What to Eat (and Not to Eat) For Your Oral Health

It is well documented that food and drink are not passive actors in the diseases attacking our health. We choose how we treat our body with the foods we eat. Food is a powerful tool to transform one's health. The biggest health threats today are non-communicable diseases -cancer, heart disease, stroke etc. and food is a powerful prevention tool. Oral health cannot be looked upon as disconnected from one's overall health so food offers a powerful tool to help combat oral diseases.
